Amanda is a leading family lawyer who is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and Head of the Family Team. She has over 24 years’ experience and a reputation for achieving constructive, pragmatic and cost-effective solutions for her clients.
She provides advice on all aspects of divorce and separation, with expertise in dealing with high-net-worth cases involving complex financial assets such as property, pensions and company assets. Amanda is also a specialist in Armed Forces and Police Pensions.
Amanda has acted for a family member of a rock star. The case involved complex trusts as the wife’s money was held within trusts set up by her father. The matter also involved complex issues relating to land ownership under the Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustee Act.
Amanda has also successfully acted for a client whose partner attempted to claim a beneficial interest in her property but the claimant had based his case on fraudulent documents which resulted in a 7 year prison sentence.
Amanda is an expert when it comes to overcoming the complexities of a divorce to reach a financial settlement. She also advises on all children matters arising from the breakdown of a relationship, including residence and contact disputes, disputes in relation to relocation of children whether in this country or abroad.
